About Sara Dwyer

I truly do love what I do each day as an IT Leader. I have had wonderful opportunities, projects and team members who have helped me develop and grow into a strong and thoughtful leader. My IT experience began with project management in eCommerce and digital delivery for Thermo Fisher Scientific, and my projects ranged from strategic enhancements, to pilots for new enterprise architecture and completing a redesign of a website that generates $1+ billion in revenue annually. At Lennox International, I continued to focus on eCommerce and digital delivery, completing several large projects, including a website redesign. I was also responsible for the Project Management Center of Excellence (COE) and working within the company to drive project management best practices. In my current role, I work with business functions and across teams to curate and deliver functional roadmaps and technology assessments. Through each of these projects, I have learned that my positive attitude can make a difference when a project hits a tough spot, you have to choose process and methods that work for that project, and succeeding as a team is more important than individual success. Since my first love was science, I also take an analytical and systematic approach to solving project challenges, and revisiting processes and issues to learn what can be done better next time. I am continuously focused on improving myself as a project manager through experience, education, constructive feedback and new opportunities.
