ABOUT SAQUIB SARFRAZ
web: https://ssarfraz.github.io - I am an active researcher in machine learning/computer vision. I share my time at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation as Lead Deep learning and at CV-HCI Lab KIT as a senior research scientist. At Mercedes-Benz, my responsibilities include setting/innovating the strategic AI projects for ADAS and smart factory. At CV-HCI lab I am the team lead for the work in the direction of the perception of people for HCI-related applications and also a member of several related funded projects. Before moving to Karlsruhe I served as an assistant professor (From 2009 to 2012) in the Electrical Engineering department of COMSATS Institute of Technology in Pakistan. There I founded and directed the Computer Vision Research Group COMVis.
