ABOUT SANYA SUHAG

I\'m a Delhi-based law graduate who’s passionate about creating meaningful impact. My work focuses on digitizing the undigitized, helping small sellers and artisans embrace digital opportunities, and uplifting marginalized communities. Whether it’s a bustling market or a new digital platform, I believe in finding solutions that transform lives. One of my most rewarding experiences was working with 500 street food vendors. Together, we achieved a threefold income boost in just six months, pairing technology with a holistic approach to their livelihoods. It’s incredible to see what happens when purpose meets innovation. My journey with ONDC has been equally transformative. As part of this innovative, governmental startup culture, I’ve gained hands-on experience across inception, implementation, and eventually operations. It’s taught me how to build something new while making a tangible impact. I’ve also worked closely with ministries and government bodies on initiatives like PM Svanidhi and PM Vishwakarma, programs specifically designed to uplift street vendors and artisans—the true heartbeat of our economy. When I’m not working, I’m chasing passions of a different kind. I founded my own polo team to promote and uplift women’s horse polo nationally and internationally. Additionally, I’ve had the immense honor of playing polo for India, representing the country on multiple occasions.
