Contributing to IUCN’s national Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) initiative in Delhi NCR, supporting the restoration of degraded landscapes through Nature-based Solutions (NbS) that deliver benefits for climate, biodiversity, and communities.Key Highlights:Supporting the planning and implementation of FLR models in Delhi NCR, aligned with India’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and global restoration goals under the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.Managing multi-stakeholder coordination across government agencies, academic institutions, civil society organizations, and local communities to design inclusive and scalable restoration strategies.Integrating NbS into FLR interventions to enhance ecosystem services, promote urban and peri-urban resilience, and improve human well-being.Leading the development of Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) for model restoration sites, ensuring adherence to IUCN safeguards and sustainability standards.Facilitating capacity-building, stakeholder workshops, and cross-sectoral dialogues to embed science-based, participatory approaches in the FLR process.Documenting lessons learned and best practices to support replication, knowledge exchange, and policy integration at regional and national levels.
