Playing a key role in establishing one of India’s first integrated Li-ion cell manufacturing Giga factories, covering cylindrical and prismatic cells (LFP & NMC) formats under one roof.Key Responsibilities & Contributions:Led plant layout planning, formation line design, and material flow optimization aligned with production requirements and automation readiness.Defined technical specifications, evaluated vendors, and managed the end-to-end CapEx equipment lifecycle: RFP, DAP, 3D layout review, FAT, SAT, and commissioning.Successfully implemented and integrated WCS, WMS, MES, and FMS to streamline production, warehousing, and traceability systems as part of the Industry 4.0 strategy.Developed and standardized formation pallets/trays (including FG pallets and EPP liners) to suit high-throughput and automated logistics.Designed and commissioned advanced material handling systems: ASRS, AMR/AGVs, gantries, monorail cranes, XY rails, and EOTs.Led digital twin modeling and 3D validations for virtual commissioning, reducing layout errors and physical rework.Defined and implemented raw material to production line flow (ASN → Gate Entry → WMS → MES), ensuring seamless inbound logistics and traceability.Handled cross-functional coordination across process, automation, and production teams to ensure timely project readiness.International Engagements (China):FAT (Wuxi Lead): Oversaw FAT for nail pulling machines, KUKA robots, conveyors, racking systems, etc.MES UAT (SVOLT – Jintan): Participated in MES testing across Quality, Equipment, Production, and Process modules.DAP & TA (SVOLT – Wuxi): Finalized technical agreements and validated 3D layouts for prismatic cell formation systems.
