As a Senior Electronics Engineer at amPICQ Private Limited, my role is centered on the innovative development and integration of Electronic and Photonic Integrated Circuits (EPIC). This involves a comprehensive approach to PCB design, board development, signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and rigorous testing processes, ensuring that our advanced systems meet the highest industry standards.My responsibilities include leading the design and layout of multilayer PCBs, specifically tailored for EPIC applications. I utilize advanced tools such as Keysight ADS and Ansys to create designs that seamlessly integrate photonic and electronic components. This integration is critical for achieving high-performance, high-speed data processing, and efficient communication within our systems.In the board development phase, I focus on optimizing the physical design to minimize signal loss and interference, ensuring robust signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI). This involves careful consideration of the placement of components, trace routing, and power distribution networks to reduce noise and ensure reliable operation under various conditions.Testing is a key part of my role, where I conduct thorough evaluations of both the electronic and photonic aspects of our designs. This includes using state-of-the-art equipment to verify the performance of the designed systems. My expertise in testing and tuning ensures that each design meets the stringent requirements necessary for commercial deployment.
