My recent role at IBM India as a Finance and Administration Delivery Specialist involved handling vendor reconciliation in accounts payable (P2P) and collections in accounts receivable (O2C). I ensured accurate accounting records, resolved discrepancies, and maintained positive vendor relationships, which are crucial for effective collections. Additionally, my experience at Siemens Technology & Services as a Senior Process Associate further honed my skills in managing vendor queries, analyzing customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections. I regularly communicated with customers via email, chat, and calls to remind them of payments and account balances, which significantly improved our collection rates. My ability to analyze accounts to determine delinquency and proactively reach out to customers has been instrumental in minimizing overdue accounts. I believe that my background in both accounts payable and receivable gives me a comprehensive understanding of the entire financial cycle, enabling me to optimize the collections process effectively.
