ABOUT SANTINO MACAGGI
I am a junior at Purdue University studying mechanical engineering, and I am passionate about promoting innovation in design, research, and collaboration. During my research experience, I developed innovative athletic monitoring solutions. During my co-op terms at GE Appliances, I optimized appliance performance and durability. Additionally, I demonstrated my expertise in product design, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. I have an engineering background with a global base, supported by study abroad experiences in Italy and France. I am comfortable in a multicultural atmosphere. Proficiency in two languages-English and Spanish-allows me to work efficiently at the team and marketplace level. I\'m especially interested in the connection between engineering and human-centered design. Along with my technical expertise, I also contribute a growth mentality, leadership, and effective communication. I\'m excited to contribute my skill sets to initiatives that have a real impact, whether that means solving complex sports engineering challenges or creating products for the final user!
