Managing the post-award execution of large EU-funded consortia across Horizon Europe, Joint Undertakings, Digital Europe. After nearly a decade of building these partnerships from scratch, designing the consortium setup, writing the proposals, and securing over €100M in funding, I now lead the operational side: keeping multi-partner projects on track from kick-off through final reporting.In practice, that means coordinating project delivery across 20+ partner organisations, including research institutes, universities, corporates, and SMEs. I manage budgets, milestones, and deliverables across work packages, handle European Commission reporting cycles, and act as the link between technical teams, project officers, and consortium leadership. Having written what was promised in the first place makes a real difference when you\'re the one responsible for delivering it.The role sits between strategic oversight and hands-on coordination: seeing where a portfolio is heading while staying close enough to individual projects to catch problems early.

The hardest part of building an innovation ecosystem is bringing the people together. The moment when a Fortune 500 R&D lead, an early-stage founder, and a university PI have to agree on something that matters to all of them — with different incentives, different languages, and different definitions of success. That\'s the I\'ve spent the past decade sitting with people who have an idea — researchers, startup founders, corporate innovation leads — and helping them figure out whether it has legs, how to fund it, and how to build something real around it. Not just the strategy. The relationships, the trust, the political navigation, the moment when someone needs a completely different kind of help than what they\'re asking for.The thread that runs through all of it: I connect worlds that don\'t naturally talk to each other. A Helsinki museum and the gaming industry. Post-consumer textile waste and blockchain. Startups and the corporates that could back them. Researchers and the policy frameworks that could amplify their work. Over time, that work scaled. I\'ve orchestrated consortia of up to 55 partners across 20 countries — research institutes, large corporates, universities, SMEs, regional authorities — managing not just the structure but the dynamics that hold these partnerships together when things get complicated.
