ABOUT SANTIAGO VAZQUEZ FERNANDEZ
I am a 2nd-Year MEng Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial College London with a technical focus on electronic systems and machine learning models. My work combines circuit design, PCB layout, embedded systems, and signal processing with computational methods for data analysis, predictive modelling, and optimisation.I am proficient in Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Altium Designer, Arduino, PCB and circuit design, and SPICE simulation. I have applied these skills to develop prototypes of biomedical and sensing devices, simulate and validate signal processing circuits, and train machine learning models that extract insights from complex datasets.I am motivated by projects where engineering systems and computation intersect, whether its developing electronic devices, applying machine learning to biomedical data, or building models to inform decision-making in fields such as finance. I thrive on moving from concept to execution, integrating design, modelling, and analysis to deliver impactful results.
