As the first Alumni Engagement Specialist at La Vida Scholars, I lead efforts to strengthen and expand our growing alumni network of 400+ graduates. My role focuses on fostering community, building sustainable engagement, and highlighting the impact of alumni through data, outreach, and events.Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain alumni data systems to track outcomes, inform strategy, and support grant reporting- Design and implement an alumni census to collect updated contact, educational, and career information- Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni communications, including newsletters and targeted outreach- Launch and facilitate the Alumni Council to provide feedback, host quarterly meetings, and co-create professional development opportunities- Plan and execute alumni events from social gatherings to networking and career development sessions while creating promotional materials to drive engagement- Collaborate with internal teams to showcase alumni stories and connect graduates to resources.
