ABOUT SANTIAGO CASAS
I am a theoretical and numerical cosmologist working at the intersection of precision cosmology, large-scale structure, and dark energy research. My expertise spans cosmological modeling, cross-correlation techniques, machine learning for data analysis, and developing high-performance pipelines for Stage-IV surveys. I have been actively involved in the Euclid Consortium for nearly a decade, contributing to forecasting, likelihood analysis, and nonlinear modeling. As a Builder and CLOE maintainer, I focus on maximizing the scientific impact of Euclid’s data, particularly in testing modified gravity, neutrino mass constraints, and dark energy models. Passionate about open science and reproducibility, I develop public tools for cosmological analysis, including CosmicFish, JAX-Cosmo, CLASS, Cobaya and MontePython extensions. I also mentor early-career researchers and engage in outreach to make complex cosmology accessible to a wider audience. Currently seeking opportunities to expand my research, build collaborations, and contribute to the next generation of cosmological discoveries. Let’s connect to discuss research, collaboration, or scientific outreach!
