I\'m Santiago Pereyra, a Data Engineer with a keen interest in the banking sector. Throughout my career, I\'ve spearheaded large-scale projects that have left a tangible mark on organizational operations and performance.One of my standout achievements is the development of a comprehensive metrics system to evaluate the objectives and outcomes of sales officers and firms within the banking realm. Leveraging SQL within the Teradata framework, I crafted a system pivotal in gauging and calculating sales team performance, determining bonus allocations based on goal attainment. Employing visualization tools like Microstrategy, I crafted detailed reports offering a lucid view of sales officers\' achievements and their team leaders, streamlining incentive-related decision-making.Furthermore, I\'ve had the opportunity to apply my skills in crafting a similar system for the personal banking sector. Here, I engineered a solution to analyze data, transactions, and vendor sales. These metrics were pivotal in vendor payment management and performance assessment.My repertoire also encompasses successful implementation of bases and models for cloud development. I established connectors between Microstrategy and the cloud utilizing Azure Data Factory and the Unity Catalog in Databricks. Within Databricks, I capitalized on my PySpark and Python proficiency to architect views and stored procedures underpinning these systems, extracting data from bronze, silver, and gold layers for analysis and exploitation.Additionally, I undertook the optimization of antiquated stored procedures fraught with processing delays and subpar performance, ensuring enhanced system efficiency and throughput.My fervent dedication to continuous improvement and knack for tackling complex challenges have consistently set me apart in every project engagement.
