ABOUT SANTANA BERHALTER

I am going into my senior year at Indiana University currently majoring in sports management and marketing with a minor in business marketing. I have a passion for working with others, communicating in an effective manor, and bettering my community. I have showcased these skills in many aspects of my life starting during high school. I was on varsity soccer all four years, not only improving my own skills, but working to better my teammates skills as well. I was apart of national honors society which allowed me to communicate in order to see improvements around my school and other schools. As well as working as an arrupe mentor, which allowed me to lead younger kids in my highschool to feel comfortable, connected, and the resources to succeed in our school. Furthermore, I worked in local food pantry\'s and churches, helping build stronger unity in our community. I got to sit down with people at the pantry and build relationships with people in my community who might not get the same opportunity\'s as me. Now at Indiana University I am working to expand my brand, not only in a personal way, but also in an educational aspect. I am getting involved in not only classes, but also in clubs and organizations around campus. I plan to join Business for women, in order to work with others in a similar field in order to grow and strengthen each other together. I plan to work with the MiddleWay house for women in Bloomington, as volunteering has always been something I remain very passionate about. I hope to grow as a student here, and a person by joining more clubs around campus. I would like to become active in the real-estate club, and also volunteer my time more throughout campus. I want to be involved in all my camps has to offer and not waste my time in Bloomington.
