As a Data Scientist at Spirit Airlines, I apply my skills in data analytics, machine learning, and software development to optimize the efficiency of airport operations and improve customer satisfaction. I have successfully implemented a routing algorithm that improved the efficiency of airport staff by 50%, analyzed gate conflict events to enhance gate conflict detection by 5%, and ran LLM inference on survey data to boost the NPS score by 2 points. In my current role as a part of the R&D team, I am also accountable to various nontechnical stakeholders to deliver meaningful results.In addition to my role at Spirit Airlines, I also gained valuable experience as a Sr. Software Engineer at Persistent Systems, where I worked mainly on Data Science projects. I got to direct a team of 70+ members to integrate ML capabilities into their MDM product. This role also included designing, developing, and testing ML features. It also included conveying and presenting the ML pipeline processes to a non-technical audience. I have pursued my Master of Science in Computer Science at Colorado State University after completing my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Sinhgad College of Engineering. I am passionate about leveraging data and technology to solve real-world problems and create a positive impact.
