   I am engaged as a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert under the State Program Monitoring Unit of Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin (SBM-G), implemented through the State Water and Sanitation Mission (SWSM), Government of Maharashtra.In this role, I support statewide monitoring of rural sanitation and solid-liquid waste management initiatives, with a focus on performance tracking, data-driven decision-making, and interdepartmental coordination.Key Responsibilities:Designing and strengthening M&E frameworks to track district-wise progress under SBM-G.Coordinating with District Water and Sanitation Missions (DWSMs) and supporting field-level officials in planning and reporting.Facilitating regular state-level and district-level review meetings to assess implementation status and resolve operational challenges.Data analysis, reporting, and dashboard-based performance monitoring for key indicators such as ODF sustainability, waste management infrastructure, and community engagement.Capacity building and handholding support to district teams for efficient program delivery and compliance with the Government of India guidelines.Through this role, I contribute to strengthening governance systems and ensuring sustainable sanitation outcomes across rural Maharashtra.
