About Sanket Aher
I studied BSc in Physics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. In the pursuance of penchant towards understanding the social sector, I joined a Gandhi Fellowship program. I worked with the Maharashtra government’s Village Social Transformation Mission program in the Gadhchiroli district, exploring the tribal communities there. I work on the Panchayat level, to leverage the government system to address issues. I completed Post Graduate Program in Development Leadership at the Indian School of Development Management. My long term vision is to build self-governed & self-sufficient villages to solve their problems by enabling the masses to make an informed decision and community participation in their village development by empowering a Gramsabha.
