About Sankalp Chapalgaonkar
Working as a software engineer at HPE, I am currently building agentic infrastructure from ground up. My work focuses on developing intelligent, scalable multi-agent systems, harness development, context and memory management, developing skill based agentic architecture and implementing MCP and A2A within the agentic stack. Along with this I built production grade agentic graph RAG system along with evaluator systems to reduce the hallucinations. Complementing my AI expertise is a strong background in building scalable distributed systems using Go, Python, and Java. I have a deep understanding of Kubernetes, Kafka, and distributed databases like Cassandra and Redis, along with Elasticsearch and Clickhouse.I hold a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University and an undergraduate degree from IIT Madras. Following my graduation, I worked as an SDE II at JP Morgan Chase for over three years, where I worked on developing 3-tier software applications for global advisors with micro-service architecture using technologies such as Reactive Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Oracle, Elasticsearch, Amazon S3, Kerberos, Kubernetes, Jenkins, React, Angular, and Spring Cloud Data Flow. My standout performance led to the opportunity to spearhead a new project, demonstrating my ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end solutions.
