A musician always. a drummer by choice! Then went into films. and have worked with noted Bengal director- Rituparno Ghosh for over 8yrs. Did music for 8 of his films. Dosar, Khela, Sunglass, The Last Lear, Shob Charitro Kalponik, Abohomaan, Noukadubi, Jibon Smriti(Docu on Tagore). Out of which Dosar & Last Lear have bagged National Awards and various awards in the International Film Festivals. Now based in Mumbai doing music/composition mainly for tv commercials.
