Through the leadership of a multifunctional team of over 150 onshore and offshore Architects, Analysts, Testing and Delivery professionals across 5 different organisations, I have overall accountability for the strategic direction and incremental modernisation of a complex and diverse technology estate that is of critical importance in enabling the collection of the £3.8 Billion TV Licence fee revenue, which makes up 93% of the BBC’s overall funding.Defined and led the technology change programme focused on implementing soft and hard gating of BBC iPlayer through the integration with BBC TV Licensing, to ensure its content is only accessed by those who have a valid TV Licence.Developed the business investment proposal and led a multifunctional team in the £xx million procurement and solution delivery of the BBC TV Licensing Digital Transformation Programme (CMS Modernisation). In addition to modernising and future proofing critical elements of the estate, the solution is projected to deliver £xx million per annum in combined revenue and is a key enabler for the BBC’s overall Digital Transformation Strategy.Overall solution leadership and responsibility for the design and implementation of the BBC TVL Digital Transformation Programme. This includes the migration of over 4 Billion records and will replace an ageing estate with new SaaS and IaaS based technology and infrastructure delivering Big Data Analytics and AI / Machine Learning capability aligned with best of breed Campaign Management. Guest speaker at both the AWS Transformation Day 2019 and Informatica World Tour 2019, presenting and discussing how the IT modernisation activity within TV Licensing is key in enabling the BBC’s overall Digital Transformation Strategy.Complete redesign and implementation of the IT Service Delivery model across multiple parties, including the definition of complex cooperation agreements and the negotiation of KPI’s and SLA’s across shared operational processes.
