Ph.D. scientist with more than 20 years of experience in protein and antibody engineering with a strong inclination towards understanding protein sequence structure relationship. I have independently set up protein/peptide display platforms involving both phages and yeast in academic and industrial setting. I have also worked on extensive biophysical characterization of antibody-antigen interactions using SPR methods for kinetics and epitope binning and established both biochemical and cell based functional assays. In course of my industry experience, I have worked with immunologists in CAR-T and bispecific T cell engager projects. I am keen on extending my expertise in proteins to solving challenging new problems in protein engineering that can serve to bridge the gap between functions at a molecular and cellular level.
