About Sanjeevani B.
I have graduated the MSc in Development Studies Course at LSE. In the course of my programme, I have studied global economic development, and the role of shared value and corporate financing in achieving the SDGs. My research has led to in-depth explorations of the impact of global value chains on the informal economy, environments and gendered labour. I also enjoyed exploring the relationship between political systems and economic development. In my dissertation, I further pursued research on gender-based violence. I explored workplace sexual harassment as a potential cause for the declining female labour force participation rate in India: a puzzle that continues to be prioritized in the field of labour economics.I have a background in economics with some learning of corporate finance, that I followed professional work in areas such as Women\'s Safety and exploring the intersections of Crime and Development with my internship at IDFC Institute. Apart from my academics I enjoy swimming, music, and golf. I also take a keen interest in fried chicken, desserts and occassionally enjoy watching the most out-there movies that I can find.
