Marine Well Containment Company is a not for profit company established by 10 international oil companies to improve the industry\'s ability to respond to a deep water well control incident in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The MWCC’s expanded control system consists of two modular capture vessels (MCV), which are dynamically positioned (DP2) floating, production, storage and offtake (FPSO) units equipped with world’s first modular topside processing plant and hybrid riser turret mooring system. Reporting directly to the COO of the company. Provide strategic vision and management guidance to operations team to ensure the MCVs are ready to respond at all times. Delivering sustainable performance through operations excellence, strong financial discipline and by building value based culture. Collaborate with marine partners, upholding tenets of charter party, and administer charter party management of mid-stream marine contracts. Ensure the operations team works closely with other stake holders to ensure the DP2 FPSOs operate in compliance with the regulatory policies and standards. Work with project technology teams of the member oil companies to develop capabilities and capital enhancement of MCVs in line with advancements in deep water exploration.
