High Energy Physics Researcher (Rare decays & Light Ion )| ML/DL ApplicationsCurrently working as a Junior Research Fellow at IIT Jodhpur on rare charm decays in the Belle II experiment, with a focus on the baryonic charm sector. Since these decays are relatively less explored, they provide an exciting opportunity to probe possible Beyond Standard Model (BSM) effects.During my master’s, I worked on understanding how nuclear geometry influences event-by-event dynamical fluctuations in mean transverse momentum. In particular, I studied the effects of different nuclear density models — Alpha-Cluster Structure and Woods–Saxon distributions — for Oxygen and Neon nuclei. I also worked on asymmetry and uncertainty studies in simulated electron-proton collision data for the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC).Beyond high-energy physics, I have applied Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques in bioinformatics, specifically for cancer type/stage prediction using DNA methylation data, in collaboration with researcher from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), USA.I am broadly interested in applying ML/DL techniques to make research more efficient across domains and am always open to collaborations involving interesting scientific problems.Experienced with C++, Python, BASF2, ROOT, PYTHIA, JETSCAPE, GIT and ML/DL workflows, I am seeking opportunities in particle physics and AI-driven scientific research where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to learn from leading researchers.
