Main responsibility is leading and managing the development of various sensor and sensor systems for the futuristic products of the company keeping control on the engineering, cost and process. Quality and reliability check along with risk management of all the projects are also integral part of the responsibilities • Leading and managing the development of various smart sensor and smart sensing systems for new products in pipeline. • Setting up few world class sensor development and characterization lab • Building the tech team and recruitment • Setting up the supply chain for the production these sensors • Coordinating with the engineering and research labs between research and development teams for smooth progress in the overall developmental activities for the development of the sensors • Leading the creation of various intellectual property for the company to protect the right to practice • Sensor development road map and strategy set for 5-10 years in research in the sensor domain • Cross domain leadership expectation management • Managing research managers and tech leads • Setting up various NDAs with external partners to have joint development of various products. • Setting up tech day in campus with various current and potential future suppliers • Getting the reviewed in various TRL levels depending on the nature of the projects
