Strengthening State Strategies for Climate Actions is a project, being implemented by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC). The overall goal of the project is to integrate climate actions into sub-national planning, benefiting local communities in India. The goal is to be achieved by strengthening capacities of state Nodal agencies on climate change and focus sectoral departments to plan and undertake specific interventions in climate sensitive sectors impacting large sections of vulnerable communities in the state. The project is funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
