Dr. Vashishtha’s activities at First Green are focused on Renewable energy, energy policy, building energy efficiency technologies, carbon credits, sustainable reporting. The major activities /projects handled by Dr. Vashishtha are the following; • Implementing Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standards in Indian Utilities” a Project funded by Shakti Sustainability foundation.• Lender’s Engineer due diligence for over 20 projects with cumulative capacity of about 500 MW. In India for solar, wind and biomass projects. • Conducted several training programs in the field of solar PV, wind power, and building energy efficiency. • He has been active in creating a portfolio of about kW solar projects under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) to provide distributed power generation services through solar rooftop projects. Dr. Vashishtha has also installed over 10 MW of solar rooftop projects under the capex mode. • Dr. Vashishtha has been active for policy advisory works to many government and non government bodies, which include the MNRE, SECI, world bank, ADB, and other international organizations.
