A result driven Cyber Security professional dedicated to building resilient cyber security programs of tomorrow, responsible for decades of IT security initiatives in the Indian Navy. More than 20 years continuous experience in Cyber security and Cyber Operations.In addition to working experience in the Indian Navy as a Commander for 22 years covering wide aspects of Cyber Security initiatives including policy framework, security audits, products testing, solutions implementation, cyber Forensics and Risk Management etc, resulting in a strong foundation for Information Security Management.Experience in coordinating and directing all phases of Project based efforts, managing, motivating, guiding and mentoring teams, built Information Security organization of the Indian Navy.In 2011 after serving for years in CERT-Navy, was selected to take over as Joint-Director of CERT-Navy and Information Warfare in the Indian Navy and drove IT security organisation setup, which involved talent acquisition, induction and training of suitable talented personnel in CERT-Navy.Had the privilege to represent Navy at National level Government forums on issues related to cyber security and e-governance for the protection of the Critical Information Infrastructure. Have also been a visiting member to various Naval institutions as a Domain Expert on subjects pertaining to Cyber Security.As AVP Cyber Security at Genpact drove security operations and engagements across the globe and in 2022 has taken over as Director Cyber Security at Wipro, driving Cyber security across multitude of functions, building, mentoring and making data protecting resilient ecosystem every day.
