The primary purpose of the role is to manage the Maintenance and modification projects for the designated plants Instrumentation.>Modification in Programming of DCS/PLC software of SIEMENS PCS-7, ABB Freelance 800 F and Rockwell PLCs(Flex Logix, Control Logix, Micro Logix).>Plan maintenance shutdowns in coordination with production departments and mobilize resources to carry out planned activities in defined time>To Prepare Preventive/ Predictive Maintenance schedule of critical and non-critical instruments and execution of the same.>Spare parts management for designated plants in co-ordination with store and plant.>To manage the project activities related to Automation / instrumentation within a designated plant within the agreed budget and the time frame.>Allocate and supervise daily work schedule of technicians and contractors and to ensure safety of working team by proper PPEs, Safety talks, and work permits and help achieving reduction of accidents.>Provide support to the Production team to resolve any process / product related issues.>Assist the cross functional team in providing the desired level of engineering services to ensure proper functioning of all existing and upcoming plant equipment.>Planning for Preventive, Predictive and Proactive and Shutdown maintenance module of Instruments and Electrical Equipment and implement it.>Route Cause Analysis of problems occurs and has ability to solve them through DCS/PLC Programming as well as from Field.>Provide On-Line/Off-Line training on DCS/PLC, Control systems and Instruments to sub-ordinates to resolve the problems
