With more than 24 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, I have successfully led multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams on projects with man-hours ranging from to hours. On several projects, I have taken leadership roles as an Engineering Project Manager and as a Lead Structural Engineer. I am a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on float-over hardware design. My experience includes providing innovative solutions to clients to achieve their strategic, operational, and financial goals. As an engineer, I have designed oil and gas platforms located in 30m to 360m water depth and topsides weighing metric tons to metric tons. I have experience in development of specifications, vendor data review and reassessment of existing platforms.My consulting experience includes developing corporate level growth strategy, analyzing competitive landscape and industry structure, assessing financial health of organizations by analyzing financial statements, and building financial forecasts to predict impact of strategic options on cash flows.My areas of expertise include: structural engineering, development of business and corporate strategy, data analytics, finance, building pro forma financial statements and estimating future free cash flows, evaluating capital projects using discounted cash flows and Net Present Value (NPV), valuation of assets using multiples, valuation of projects with debt financing, sensitivity analysis using Monte Carlo techniques, options pricing, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), asset allocation, portfolio management and investment management. I am a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas. I am an author of 15 journal and conference publications. I have worked as a mentor to many junior engineers.I hold a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering and an MBA in Corporate Finance/Investment Management, both from Rice University.
