MCC is an innovative foreign aid agency, headquartered in Washington D.C. It was created by the U.S. Congress in 2004, with bipartisan support, as a different approach to U.S. foreign assistance. MCC’s singular focus is on advancing economic growth in eligible low and middle income countries. It focuses on generally underfunded areas of development—such as roads, bridges, ports and other large-scale infrastructure that enable long-term economic growth. To maximize its impact, MCC works closely with the private sector to leverage additional benefits and it only partners with countries that meet rigorous standards for good governance.· Secured a $500M infrastructure investment deal by leading high-level bilateral diplomatic, political negotiations, overcoming legal and regulatory hurdles.· Led the implementation of over $630M MCC-Nepal compact, optimizing program management, project management, procurement, staffing, talent recruitment and financial operations.· Managed $100M of annual budget, and oversaw over 70 employees.· Led a multidisciplinary team in Washington, DC, to oversee project work plans and schedules, ensuring timely deliverables by identifying delays, implementing corrective actions, and facilitating clearances to keep program execution on track.· Established Millennium Challenge Account – Nepal (MCA-Nepal), accelerating project timelines by over 10%, streamlining project execution and distributive efficiency of $630M funding.
