About Sanjay Paranji
Three decades of experience in the energy sector, beginning with Schlumberger in Dubai and subsequently in Aberdeen covering North Sea and Middle East North Africa regions. After joining Anadarko Petroleum in Houston 2001, I held positions of increasing responsibility with multidisciplinary roles and geographic breadth within Anadarko’s onshore, deepwater and international projects. Through 2019, led Anadarko\'s R&D team called Advanced Analytics & Emerging Technologies AAET and Geoscience/Reservoir tech groups focused on developing new subsurface and operations applications using cutting-edge technologies and next-generation capabilities to develop and explore conventional and unconventional oilfields. Since 2020, I have embarked on an enduring journey to create an advanced technology firm XECTA specializing in a fusion of physics and AI methods to solve complex upstream, midstream and downstream challenges in the oil & gas sector as well as being a part of the emerging renewables transition.
