My group is an engineering Organization at Oracle specifically focused on Performance, Scalability, and Reliability aspects of Oracle Cloud Product Suites. Our goal is to achieve the highest levels of performance, scalability, reliability, high-availability and serviceability for mission critical Oracle Services.Scope of the work involves the following:• Owning performance/stability charter across all Cloud Pillars–IaaS, PaaS, SaaS• Managing the India charter completely focused on Performance, Stability and Reliability• Driving key performance/stability optimizations working with global teams• Customer success working with large Enterprise accounts in Cloud• Proactive engagement during implementation• Reactive engagements during unplanned outage incidents• Closed loop process by benchmarking real world workloads in Lab • Simulating edge/corner-case use cases in Lab as part of Chaos effort• Tooling Automation/Monitoring/Instrumentation to enable internal and external teams to analyze & quickly isolate root cause for problems• Scanners to determine blast radius of common problematic patterns causing instabilities/poor performance• Life Cycle Management optimizations• Sizing, Capacity planning and Datacenter efficiencies
