I serve as Head of Data Platform and Chief Data Officer(CDO) at Axis bank. In this role I am responsible for bringing technology solutions for data driven transformation and modernization for the bank. I lead a team of seasoned data practitioners responsible for architecting best of the breed tech solution to support the business functions of the bank. My focus area is to make the bank future ready by building agile and sustainable Data Platform leveraging cutting-edge tech solutions( Lakehouse, data lake, cloud computing, virtualization etc),at the same-time enabled a “Single Version of Truth” of enterprise data for regulatory, compliance, risk and MIS. I have also worked towards conceptualization of Citi Bank Retail Portfolio acquisition by Axis Bank. I led Legal Day1(LD1) and Legal Day 2(LD2) planning and migration activities. Prior to joining Axis Bank in 2021, I worked as technology leader with IBM India and was responsible for signing multi-million-dollar Enterprise Data Platform upgrade and modernization deal with 3 leading Banks in India. I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree from NIT Allahabad.
