Sanjay Gupta is board certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry practices in the Buffalo area. I have wide ranging expertise with 20 plus years in clinical practice ranging from running a large group practice with eight psychiatrists running multiple hospital inpatient units and clinics to a solo practice. This involves managing costs yet building a high quality brand of clinical care and research. In the skilled nursing facility setting \"bring the hospital to the SNF concept\". Providing care in a PACE program preventing nursing home placement.Have successfully conducted clinical research including Phase II, and IV clinical trials and over a 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I have provided consultation for design of research studies and feasibility of such studies. Focus on reducing placebo response as well as issues with rating instruments. Focus on why studies fail related to site selection.I serve as a reviewer for major journals in the field such as the American Journal of Psychiatry and American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry. Have been involved with fundraising such as serving as the Chairperson of the Geriatric Mental Health Foundation and a Board member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry.
