Reporting to the Head of Data Science and VP of Engineering, designed and deployed a novel geofencing algorithmusing open-source mapping tools (OSM).• Developed and productionized the algorithm as a scalable service adopted by clients across the US and India,achieving a generalizable solution across geographies.• Improved algorithm efficiency by 10x through async functions, batch processing, and optimized compute utilization. Integrated the algorithm into a system defining geofences using a combination of execution data and geographical barriers using an ensemble model of a GNN and an MLP Regressor. Adopted Uber\'s H3 strategy to integrate these features into the existing tech stack.
