I’m a Research and Modelling Analyst at Wood Mackenzie, working on the next generation of Power Market Simulation (PCM) tools for the European electricity market. My work sits at the intersection of energy systems, optimization, and data science for building frameworks that simulate dispatch, unit commitment, and market clearing to forecast marginal prices and operational dynamics.My background in Renewable Energy Engineering and Mechanical Design has given me both a systems-level understanding of how markets function and a hands-on appreciation for how technology gets built from the ground up. I’ve previously worked as a Design Engineer, developing machines new to the Indian market, and now contribute to developing a PCM platform in Python.I’m passionate about combining analytical modeling, mathematics, and software development to make energy markets more transparent, efficient, and ready for the renewable transition.
