As the CEO and Co-Founder of RewardsX, I lead the vision, strategy, and execution of an innovative fintech platform built to help Canadians maximize credit card rewards and improve their financial well-being. Under my leadership, RewardsX has grown from concept to MVP and is on track to serve thousands of Canadians through an AI-powered, user-first mobile and web experience.Key Responsibilities:Defined and executed the strategic roadmap for both the B2C and B2B products, ensuring strong product-market fit across financial and retail sectors.Spearheaded partnership and pilot discussions with major Canadian banks, fintech accelerators, and international airports to expand RewardsX’s ecosystem.Built and managed a multidisciplinary team of 20+ developers, analysts, and product contributors through our “Learn & Engage” program, focusing on talent development and innovation.Raised awareness and credibility for the startup by securing positions in top accelerators including Fintech Cadence, Plug and Play Alberta, and Alberta Catalyzer.Directed product development of the RewardsX mobile app (Flutter, Firebase, GCP) and backend (Node.js on Google Cloud), including roadmap prioritization and feature design for real-time card-linked offers, wallet suggestions, and dynamic reward triggers.Introduced new SaaS revenue streams with a B2B AI-powered insights dashboard, aimed at helping small businesses retain customers through personalized offers and loyalty perks.Championed a data-driven culture by incorporating AI/ML technologies like Vertex AI and Gemini AI to power intelligent rewards recommendations.Achievements:Launched RewardsX early access program in Canada (Dec 2024), supporting all major credit cards and over businesses nationwide.Initiated collaboration with 10+ Canadian colleges and universities for capstone and WIL programs.
