ABOUT SANJANA SUNDARESAN
I’m a healthcare analytics and epidemiology professional who enjoys working on real-world data and turning it into insights that actually help people make better decisions. My background spans epidemiologic study design, statistical modeling, and RWE generation across oncology, rare diseases, and chronic conditions. I\'ve spent a lot of time in SAS and R, exploring claims, EHR, and patient-reported data, and I enjoy building clean, efficient workflows that make analyses smoother for everyone. I also draw on my training from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and my bioengineering roots at SASTRA University.I care a lot about using analytics for good, whether that’s supporting evidence development in industry or taking on meaningful side projects. One of my favorite experiences was leading a pro bono study with ASHWINI on esophageal carcinoma risk factors in tribal communities in India, along with earlier work at SAATHII focused on public health access. I enjoy collaborating with teams, breaking down complex research questions, and finding practical ways to apply RWE and HEOR methods to real-world problems. Always happy to connect with others who work in this space or are just excited about data, health, and making things a little easier for patients.
