ABOUT SANJANA SACHDEV
I am an India-qualified lawyer and currently a Trainee Lawyer at Clyde & Co (Paris), where I focus on international commercial and investor-State disputes, following my LL.M. in Transnational Arbitration and Dispute Settlement (TADS) at Sciences Po Law School, Paris. Before moving to Paris, I practiced as a Dispute Resolution Lawyer in New Delhi, appearing before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and various regulatory bodies and tribunals. My work spanned a diverse range of matters—civil, commercial, contractual, insolvency, and regulatory disputes, with a strong focus on arbitration and other ADR mechanisms. I have represented construction companies and individuals in high-stakes EPC and commercial arbitration proceedings. Beyond practice, I am passionate about advocacy and mentorship, and have coached teams for premier moot court competitions, including the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, IBA ICC Moot and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Having participated in several moot courts myself, I find it deeply rewarding to guide budding lawyers in exploring the field of international dispute resolution.
