India Taxation • Working with UK and India teams for India taxation - specifically with UK clients having India sub and vice versa• Managing and coordinating multiple teams / assignments• Analysis of India business and contracts and advising clients on tax and regulatory implications • Advising clients on India entry and exit strategy including therein funding options, entity options, liquidation, cash repatriation strategies.• International structuring (specifically in relation to India business)• Provide high level inputs on tax implications on business model and transaction structure• Advising clients on queries on India taxation such as – Capital gains on Indirect transfer of India assets, Carry forward of losses due to change of ownership, Permanent establishment in India, Withholding taxes on royalties, FTS and other services, Service tax under reverse charge mechanism, Group PE, Tax and Company Act compliances, obtaining Permanent Account Number etc.• Support the Partner in client meetings for business development activities• Preparation of specific presentations / materials on India specific highlighting tax implications• Preparing and presenting presentations on taxation in IndiaUK Taxation• Preparing slide decks on UK as a hub including use of UK as an investment location and benefits over other EU jurisdictions on a tax and regulatory perspective. • Quarterly tax provisioning and tax payment calculation• Assisting clients with respect to tax payments to HMRC, Filing of Form CT61 and obtaining WHT clearance.• Engaging PwC local teams from various countries (Nigeria, Russia, Mauritius, Cyprus etc.) to provide advice to the client - modifying deliverable to ensure client expectations and providing inputs wherever necessary• Advise on Diverted Profit Tax (DPT) in the UK• Coordination with UK tax compliance team for preparation and submission of annual corporate tax returns
