ABOUT SANIYA LOPES
I am an MPP candidate at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Prior to Harris, I worked in social impact space in India, primarily assessing the effectiveness of development interventions through impact evaluations. This experience deepened my commitment to using data to solve developmental issues. At Harris, I am focused on building a strong foundation in data analysis and quantitative methods to further an evidence-based approach to public policy and social impact. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of traditional investment principles and impact-driven initiatives to design solutions that are both financially sustainable and socially transformative.
