   As a Finance Intern at Asymmetric, I work closely with the founding team to support financial operations, planning, and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced startup environment. Asymmetric is building a platform that connects D2C brands with user-generated content (UGC) creators, and my role involves ensuring the financial backbone of that ecosystem runs smoothly. I’ve developed dynamic cash flow models to track revenue, creator payouts, and operating expenses, tools that have helped the team monitor margins and optimize campaign-level profitability. I’ve also contributed to pricing and payout strategies by analyzing project costs, standardizing creator compensation frameworks, and refining our brand-side billing process to ensure healthy unit economics. In addition, I’ve created SOPs for internal reporting and implemented scalable templates for monthly expense tracking, enabling better forecasting and budget alignment. On the operations side, I’ve helped manage creator payments and collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness. This internship has deepened my understanding of startup finance, the creator economy, and the importance of financial clarity in early-stage growth. It’s been an opportunity to not just observe, but actively shape financial systems that will support Asymmetric’s scale.
