ABOUT SANISH SAMPATH

I am a qualified data analytics professional in the data science, audit, and risk sector withcomprehensive knowledge of data analytics, data visualization, solution development, a strong business acumen and a wide area of technical data science skills.I am an Assistant Manager at BDO UK within the Data Analytics complex team team and assists with a wide variety of development projects, from technical data analytics to design and implementation of data analytics software solutions as well as audit and risk-based analytics of financial and compliance environments. I have been involved and part of the responsible team for delivering IT advisory and assurance services in the analytics and solution development sector and market. I have always ensured successful delivery and management of projects and have highly achieved success with carrying out data analytics ranging from audit and risk-based analytics, data visualization, data science (ML) activities to solution design and development and compliance projects across multiple public and private sectors.The experience and knowledge that I have gained have allowed me to grow professionally and personally, enabling me to enhance my data analytics skills, data science skills, good time management, budgets and forecast skills, forward thinking, strategic capability and sharing knowledge and skills. I have around 5 years experience managing engagements/ projects from start to finish.I completed my Master of Science in Information Technology in 2021. The highest achievement throughout my studies is that I achieved my Master’s qualifications with distinction (Cum Laude) and have continually strived for high levels of success and advancements. I advanced my knowledge in 2018 by completing COBIT 5 foundations certificate, passed Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certificate by ISACA in 2019 and obtained my Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification by ISACA in 2020.My performance throughout my studies and career has been very positive with outstanding achievements, often receiving positive feedback from those I worked for. I am highly motivated, passionate and lead by example.I have learnt during my career that to be successful in life, one needs to be open to the opportunities in the job market and life, which I carry with me into my career. Continuously growing and utilising my skills and experience in versatile, agile, and rewarding environments is my ultimate career objective.
