ABOUT SANGEMA RAI
Final-year BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing student at the University of Worcester, originally from Nepal and now training in the UK as an international student. Throughout my nursing training, I have gained diverse clinical experience across settings such as community hospitals, acute respiratory care, oral and maxillofacial surgery, ENT, trauma and orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and A&E. I have also actively arranged spoke placements, which have given me additional exposure to vascular surgery, same day emergency care (SDEC), hospice, theatres, including both Trauma & Orthopaedics Theatre and Head and Neck Theatre.Alongside my studies, I work part-time as a Care Assistant, with over two years of care and nursing experience. Back home in Nepal, I was involved in social care and leadership activities as a member of Junior Jaycees.I am passionate about learning, delivering patient-centred care, and upholding the NHS 6Cs and the NMC Code of Conduct. I look forward to starting my nursing career in an acute care setting.
