About Sanesh Ketkar

I am a research-driven professional in laboratory sciences with a passion for advancing my understanding of biochemistry, particularly in the context of cancer research. With over a year of experience, including fellowship work and hands-on research, my goal is to contribute to R&D in biochemistry by studying proteins involved in cancer systems and tackling key challenges in this field. My experience includes a two-month research project focused on the enzyme BHMT and its connection to COVID-19, followed by a four-month fellowship where I conducted experiments on the enzyme NQO1. Additionally, my senior thesis involved a four-month investigation into a chemical anomaly, which deepened my research and analytical skills.Currently, I am working as an R&D laboratory technician at Actega, where I have honed my skills in operating laboratory machinery, preparing formulations, and conducting test tube reactions. This experience is expanding my chemical knowledge and providing valuable insights into the manufacturing side of chemical research.I am eager to continue developing my expertise in biochemistry and contribute to innovative research that can solve pressing societal problems.
