   The North Carolina Council on Economic Education, NCCEE, is the premier organization in North Carolina focusing on enhancing and advancing economic and financial education for North Carolina\'s teachers and students. NCCEE provides professional development and curricular resources for K-12 teachers; academic competitions and programs for K-12 students; as well as advocacy with policy makers. Each year NCCEE partners with the NC Department of Public Instruction as well as numerous local education agencies to provide professional development to about teachers per year making them better prepared teach their students per year. Additionally, about students per year participate in NCCEE-facilitated statewide academic competitions. As executive director, I manage all aspects of the organization including fundraising, board development, program management, and outreach to policy makers and partner organizations.
