I have over 15 years of experience in initiating, growing, leading and managing comprehensive portfolios with diverse programmes and projects. I am passionate about diversity, capacity building, innovation, creating supportive environments and enabling teams to deliver high-quality results. Throughout my career, I have established and led several new successful programmes and initiatives, including an award-winning, world-class multidisciplinary and cross-sector BEATS Research Programme linking transport, health, environment and education. I have a track record of building strong, meaningful professional relationships, effectively working with professionals from different disciplines and sectors, and creating, developing and successfully managing highly productive teams. My professional training and experience span Europe, Canada, United States and New Zealand and I speak four languages. My recent professional activities and leadership roles have been inspired by interdisciplinary and cross-sector approaches to encourage active transport and active living with links to public health, built environment and sustainability. In 2021, I established the research consultancy AGILE Research Ltd. to help organisations, teams and individuals navigate the research process, successfully plan and manage their research projects and deliver high-quality research reports and presentations. In late 2021 I joined the Transport Strategy Team at Wellington City Council (Wellington, New Zealand) and have been working there since.
