ABOUT ALESSANDRO CAFORIO
As Head of R&I at International Telematic University Uninettuno, I coordinate R&I design, initiatives, activities and projects focused on ICT technologies applied to teaching and learning processes, core research field of my university. I\'m currently Board member of UNINETTUNO Foundation (promoting the University) and of MAG-Uninettuno, university spin-off focusing on continuous professional development through online/digital technologies. My R&I activity is focused on technologies, processes, services and approaches (ranging from on-demand and live web audio/video streaming, virtual-augmented-mixed reality, learning analytics, to OER and MOOCs, Human-Computer interaction, blended education, continuous professional development, inclusive education) applied to open, flexible and online learning design and provision. My expertise ranges from cognitive psychology to Web development, user requirement analysis and application design, experimental pedagogy, and organizational models innovation. As the reference point for Uninettuno Governmental Body about our e-learning technologies and pedadogical models, I take care of: • Presentation, negotiation and definition of agreements with partner enterprises, organizations and universities; • Professors and Tutors training to Uninettuno pedagogical and technological models; • Research-driven innovation in Uninettuno e-learning provision model; • Curriculum and course design, quality assurance, coordination and monitoring; • Contact point for Quality Assurance agencies at national and international level. Furthermore, I\'m currently Contract Professor for several courses focusing on technologies and learning: Instructional design in e-learning (Master Degree in Cognitive Processes and Technologies program), Psychotechnologies and Learning processes (BA program \"Psychosocial Disciplines\"), Psychotechnologies (BA program \"Communication Science\" Faculty).
