ABOUT SANDRO PERA

Telecommunications Engineer, since 2002 I dealt emerging wireless technologies and experimental projects, in particular relating to wireless networks infrastructures (also taking care of related regulatory issues and authorizations). Author of several publications in national and international conferences and journals, as well as local organization chair and session chair of several national and international workshops and conferences, I dealt with broadband and narrowband wireless networks for IoT, both in rural/mountain, and in city areas (Living Labs), for experimental projects in favor of Public Bodies, Schools, Research Centers, SMEs. Since 2015, I turned my attention to Fixed Wireless Access and Public-Private Partnerships models related to ultrabroadband Metropolitan Area Networks, to LoRa, LTE, NB-IoT and 5G technologies, and to IoT/IoD Smart City themes (in particular working on the IoTorino Project, Torino Living Lab, Torino City Lab). Since 2018, I am also engaged in Industry 4.0 innovation projects management, and in analysis, design, implementation activities and projects management about LoRaWAN networks, for smart-monitoring and SmartCity services. Since 2019, I deal with corporate planning and control; reporting directly to the CEO. Since 2020 I have been working in CSI Piemonte, first as PMO Specialist, now as Organization Specialist, dealing with the reengineering of business processes; analysis and design of corporate tools for the management and monitoring of corporate and programs/projects data; programming, planning and monitoring activities; AI Copilot sperimentation - I received the Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2002, with a thesis on “Transport layer protocols in third generation wireless systems”. I continued the development of UMTS Protocol Stack Stochatic Simulator (UPS3), working as a consultant for CSP-Innovation in ICT scarl, at the Telecommunication Networks Group of the Politecnico di Torino. In February \'03 I began a collaboration with the Dep. of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Trento; then I moved at CREATE-NET research center. In 2006, back in Turin at CSP-Innovation in ICT scarl, I joined the Newtorks and Wireless Communications R&D Area. In 20••••15, I have been CSP’s representative at GTTI (Telecommunications and Information Technologies Group) Association. Since 2020 I have been working in CSI Piemonte. In Dec. 2022, I received the first level university Master\'s Degree about \"Open Digital Transformation in the Public Administration\".
